The project offers concrete assistance with integration into society through accompanying integration services specifically tailored to the target group. The focus is on promoting potential and empowerment through targeted social-educational support. The aim is to further develop the individual potential of the women and thus promote their self-determination.
KUNA e.V. and IDG
KUNA e.V. is an official project hub in the Inner Development Goals network. We are pleased to announce that KUNA e.V. has been recognized as an official project hub in the international Inner Development Goals (IDG) initiative.
The Inner Development Goals (IDG) are a global initiative to promote the inner competencies necessary to successfully implement the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The focus is on skills such as resilience, mindfulness, empathy, creativity, and the ability to collaborate.
ARTWOMCULTURE
In our ARTWOMCULTURE project, women are empowered and encouraged to realize their potential and become active. The project is crucial in combating gender inequality and creating a fair and inclusive society. It aims to support women in various areas of life and give them the tools, resources, and confidence to realize their potential and play a more active role in society.
SIEGENSPRICHT
“Siegen spricht” (Siegen speaks) is a project run by the KUNA e. V. association with the aim of highlighting the linguistic diversity of the city of Siegen. When linguistic diversity is made visible, it creates awareness of the diversity of human lifestyles. This promotes intercultural dialogue and understanding between different groups. People learn that every language is unique and has its own value, which can break down prejudices and linguistic discrimination. The project helps to strengthen tolerance, respect, and inclusion in multicultural societies.
SOCIAL INCLUSION IN KYRGYZSTAN
Cooperation project between the Public Foundation “Our Voice,” Bishkek, and KUNA e. V.
The aim of the project was to develop a special workshop program to promote young women with disabilities and support them through creative activities.
To implement the project, representatives of both associations met in Bishkek in December 2024. With the help of social workers, individual interviews were conducted with residents of the social housing facility for girls. Their strengths, potential, and wishes were identified. A series of workshops was developed based on the potential analysis.
Sustainable entrepreneurship in rural areas
The project was made possible thanks to funding from the EU program for Belarusians, “Social Camp.” The program is run by the Goethe-Institut Warsaw and offers courses, workshops, and funding opportunities in the field of adult education based on the liberal arts system.
The GURT initiative has been addressing the challenges of rural development in Belarusian regions for many years, connecting small, often rural businesses with the aim of knowledge transfer and community building. The project focused on the importance of the SDG goals for agricultural practice and strengthening the village community.
Kick-off for joint project as part of CCP Synergy
Mit Unterstützung des Programms CCP Synergy fand der erste Arbeitsbesuch statt, der den Beginn der gemeinsamen Arbeit der Organisationen KUNA e. V. und „Our Voice“ markiert.
