The integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into culture and society is crucial, as they promote comprehensive and sustainable development while supporting cultural diversity and creative expression. Linking culture, nature and the economy within the framework of the SDGs can help to promote sustainable social development while preserving cultural identity and creative heritage. Five Sustainable Development Goals relevant to our association deserve special attention:
SDG 4 – Quality education: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
SDG 5 – Gender equality: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
SDG 10 – Less inequality: reducing inequality within and between countries
SDG 16 – Peace, justice and strong institutions: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
SDG 17 – Partnerships for achieving the goals: Strengthening implementation means and revitalising the global partnership for sustainable development
